The village of Coal Run was incorporated in 1963. The founding trustees numbered thirteen, along with two marshals and one judge. Their initiative paved the way for thousands of individuals and families to find a home among our green pastures and rolling hills.

Over the years we have expanded our amenities and improved our services, while still retaining the charm and family values that make our town a wonderful place to live and work. We invite you to come visit and see the beauty of Coal Run, KY today!
