The Coal Run Police Department has recently been the recipient of federal and state grants over the last several years, allowing for additional security equipment and personnel. Our officers provide outstanding protection and service for the residents of Coal Run and Pike County. We ask that all motorists drive responsibly and report any and all traffic accidents. Fire Department

The Coal Run Village Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1978, with Chief Picklesimer as its first Chief and one 1957 fire engine. Today, the fire department is one of the best equipped fire departments in Pike County.
